Gionee ealier this year has launched Gionee M6 and M6 Plus in China in June this year. Now Gionee has released a new variant of M6 called Gionee M6 Lite.
The smartphone has been launched in Kenya in partnership with Kilimall, a leading online retailer.
The Gionee M6 Lite has a price of Ksh20,000 (approximately Rs 13,352), but will be sold exclusively in Kilimall at a discounted price of Ksh13,999 (approximately Rs 9,347) as of 24 November.
The Gionee M6 Lite comes with a 5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixel) Full HD screen with 2.5D curved glass protection. It is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 quad processor. It has 3GB of RAM and runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Amigo 3.2 UI on top of it.
The Gionee M6 Lite has a 13 megapixel rear camera that comes along with LED flash, f / 2.0 lens, autofocus phase detection (PDAF), Panorama, Exmor-RS CMOS sensor. For selfies, there is a 5 megapixel front camera on the phone.
The Gionee M6 Lite has 32 GB of internal storage and 256 GB of expandable memory slot for a micro SD card. In addition, the M6 Lite offers a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charge technology. For connectivity, the smartphone features 4G LTE, dual sim, WiFi, GPS / AGPS, micro USB and Bluetooth. The device measures 152.3 x 75.3 x 8.2 mm and weighs 180 grams.

The previously released Gionee M6 and M6 Plus comes in Gold and Latte Gold colors. The 64GB and 128GB M6 models have a price of 2699 RMB (approximately Rs 27,200) and 2899 RMB (approximately Rs 29,211) respectively, while the 64 GB and 128 M6 Plus models are priced at 2999 RMB Rs 30.218 approximately) and 3199 RMB (Rs (Rs 32.233 approximately), respectively.
