The initial date set by WhatsApp for the expiration of its application on certain phones like the Blackberry operating system in 2016 has been changed.
Vanguard reports that the new application expiration date has been moved to June 2017 as phone users now have more time to enjoy the service on their mobile devices.
It was compiled that when this announcement was made, many people had started to exchange their phones and even some decided to sell them while sales of the phones dropped significantly in the market.

Observers are saying that this new decision to extend the expiration date of this request for BB OS phones may be a result of the latest WhatsApp video call announced by Mark Zuckerberg,
Founder of the popular social media site, Facebook. People with phones using the operating system now have the privilege of enjoying the service until mid-June 2017.
